Travelling

Hey readers, it's Esther updating you on our travels today...we left Milk River yesterday, and traveled to Grand Forks. It was a long day - on the road for nearly 12 hours (with a number of stops along the way). For lunch we stopped at the famous Tim Hortons to try their coffee and donuts (although no one actually had coffee) but we werent disappointed about the donuts. The scenery along the way was incredible: we went from the flat, open prairie...

... to the mountains, lakes and forestry. We had a 20 minute delay due to avalanche clearing on the road.

Today we woke up early and was on the road by 6.35am to get to the church service at Kelowna - a 2 and a half hour journey from Grand Forks. We were invited out for lunch, where we tried cherry or pumpkin pie with praline and cream flavored ice cream - which was yummy. We then headed to the motel and settled in before having a quick bite for dinner then off to the gospel meeting. Having an early night tonight as we're all pretty tired, so will update more in a few days :)
