Kamloops

Today's blog post comes from the eldest child on this trip. This morning, we headed downstairs and had another delicious buffet breakfast, before packing up and heading out of Vancouver.  The scenery was incredible!

The beauty of the mountains surrounded us, reminding us of the Creator and the amazingness of His work. We stopped for lunch just before Hope, and had the familiar taste of Subway. This doubled up as a service station,  so we got to see the cool trucks all lined up.
After lunch, we carried on driving inland, where more snow and mountains greeted us. The highway was pretty cool as the speed limit was 120km/h (legally).

This went on for about a 4 hour drive, until we came to Kamloops. The town is very different from the busy city of Vancouver, but still had its own beauty. Once we settled into our room, the younger 2 children plus dad went for a swim while the rest of us went into town for shopping. For dinner, we headed across the bridge for a time of fellowship with some new friends, then back to our motel for a good night's sleep :)
